Silica removal from underground water
The invention is a new electrochemical process for removal of Silica from water.
One of the frequently presented problems, when chemical methods used, that the Silica forms colloid system and can form gels. This can block the filters and create also layers in the pipes. In our system we created a very tightly controlled electronic system, producing exactly only the necessary small amount of poly¬Aluminum-hydroxid.The invention is a new electrochemical process for removal of Silica from water with patented eletrochemical REACTOR

I In several water-tight countries (e.g. Hungary, Middle East, Australia) there are large amounts of underground water storage, but can not be used for drinking because of the high concentration of Silica. Drinking it can create serious illnesses in the micro-capillaries of the human body. Even the membranes filter technologies can not be used for filtering high concentration of Silica, because the sharp Silica-crystals cut through all membranes.
